The Champion your Family Deserves
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeannette earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education magna cum laude from Lincoln University. She went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Education and worked as an elementary school teacher in Guilford County Schools for 15 years, where she took on leadership roles and served on school and district committees advocating for students, teachers, and resources. Through these experiences, she found her passion for being an advocate for children and families.
To follow her dreams, Jeannette enrolled in Elon University School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor degree. During her time at law school, she was a Leadership Fellow, Student Mentor, Moot Court board member, and a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem volunteer. Her pro bono work during law school earned her the North Carolina State Bar Annual Student Pro Bono Service Award at graduation. Jeannette interned at Legal Aid of N.C., the Guilford County Public Defender’s Office, and the Guilford County District Judges’ Office.
After graduating, Jeannette interned at Dummit Fradin and was thrilled to join the firm full-time. She gained valuable experience in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, and separation agreements.
In her free time, Jeannette enjoys attending church, volunteering at schools, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.
