Kennedy Bullis is a compassionate and empathic Family Law Attorney assigned to our Winston-Salem Domestic Office. Her most pleasurable days begin with client interviews where she particularly enjoys striving to understand their legal issue and finding a solution that will give them the outcome they need with the least negative impact on their lives and families. Kennedy realized these parents and guardians had trouble finding the information they needed to navigate the system effectively, which was often detrimental to all the parties involved, especially the kids. This experience ultimately inspired her to attend Law School at North Carolina Central University School of Law where she learned to excel at helping in these and similar situations. Her ultimate goal is that no parent ever has to go through the stressful legal process alone.

Kennedy staunchly believes in a piece of advice she learned in college, “Meet people where they are.” This is just one of the many pieces of advice her professor gave her, and it served her well through Law School and now in her Practice. In her mind, you never know what is going on with others, and you have to remember that every single person you deal with is, in fact, a person with differing backgrounds and experiences. You can’t expect them to be outstanding because, in your opinion, the task seems elementary. Meet them where they are and raise them to where they need to be. Kennedy does her best to live by this philosophy every day.

Kennedy Bullis loves spending time with her husband and beloved Corgi who she named after an almost as equally beloved literary icon.
